The course provides the participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate a Fast Rescue Boat (FRB) in accordance with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), as amended. The course covers the following topics: Boat handling Search and rescue operations Use of radio and navigational equipment Firefighting First aid

The course meets the requirements as recommended in FRB IMO course 1.24 as related to FRB in STCW section A-VI/2-1 & A-VI/2-2 of the STCW 2010 code.
