The Shipboard Safety Officer (SBSO) (Liberian Approved) course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively manage all aspects of shipboard safety. The course covers a wide range of topics, including fire prevention and control, emergency response, accident prevention, and safety management systems. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to apply the concepts learned to real–world shipboard safety situations.
Shipboard Safety officer training meets the requirements set out in the Code of Safe Working Practice for Merchant Seafarers (CoSWP) MCA-UK.The course addresses both accident prevention and accident investigation.
This Course Covers the relevant topics as evidenced in STCW Code Table A- II/2 and IMO Model Course 3.11 as follows.

After successful completion of course, certificate will be issued to the participant.
