This course is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively manage a team of bridge resources. The course will cover topics such as team dynamics, leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and resource allocation. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how to manage a team of bridge resources in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
The course is designed as per the IMO Model Course 1.22. Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork and satisfies the STCW minimum standard for competence in Navigation at Operational Level (STCW A-II/I) and at Management Level.
(STCW A-II/2) STCW 2010 Section A/B-VIII/2. The Exercises are run on a RADAR ARPA NAVIGATION Simulator and covers all aspects all of Ship-handling, passage planning, collision avoidance regulations, bride team work and management and control of navigational errors.
